How to delete your Botim account

Planning to cancel your gosimless subscription? If your virtual number is registered on Botim, it's essential to delete your Botim account before cancellation to ensure a smooth process and avoid any extra fees.

Botim account deletion steps

Follow these steps to remove your gosimless number from Botim:

• Log in to Botim: Open the Botim app on your device and sign in using your gosimless number.
• Access your account settings: Tap on the "Me" tab to access your profile and select "Account" from the menu options.
• Initiate Account Deletion: Tap on "Delete Account". A prompt will appear asking for your reason for deletion. Provide your feedback (optional) and proceed by clicking "Delete My Account".
• Understand what happens next: A confirmation screen will inform you that deleting your account will remove your Botim account permanently, erase your chat history and remove you from all groups.
• Confirm your number: Enter the gosimless number linked to your account for verification. Tap "Delete My Account" again to proceed.
• Final confirmation: A pop-up will ask you to confirm the deletion. Select "DELETE".

Why delete your Botim account?

If your gosimless number isn't removed from Botim or other linked services within 7 days of your cancellation request, a £50 manual removal fee will apply, as per our Terms of Service. Additionally, the number may be reassigned, which will result in loss of access to these platforms.

Make sure to identify any other platforms linked to your gosimless number and remove the number from those too before cancelling your subscription.
